Chemical conversion coatings are formed by the reaction of chemical conversion materials with the surfaces of aluminum and aluminum alloys to boost corrosion resistance and also used to provide a good basis for the subsequent application of paint. We use the following chemical film material, Iridite 14-2 made by MacDermid Industrial Solutions.
